FIELD BOTANY COURSE

We are now accepting applications for the 2018 Field Botany Program.  The best way to assure an interview is to fill out an interview request form and send it to us as soon as possible.

The Field Botany Program is comprised of a field program (1 full day field trip/week) and a lecture series (1 evening lecture/week). The field trips are the heart of our educational curriculum in which you will learn field botany, ecology and wildcrafting techniques through direct personal experience.  The lecture series provides the indoor classroom environment required for note taking and builds on the information covered in the field.

Upon completion of the Field Botany Program, you will be able to identify, locate, harvest, process, and use unfamiliar plants outside of the class setting. This skill will apply throughout the world beyond the Rocky Mountains.

Instructors are Adrian Mintzmyer and Joshua Paquette

No prerequisites
